About WordsMaze

WordsMaze was created to make word search puzzles easy to enjoy without requiring an account, an app, or a complicated setup. Choose a theme, choose a difficulty, generate a puzzle, and solve it on screen or print it for later.

Why we built WordsMaze

Word searches are simple, familiar puzzles, but finding a fresh puzzle for a specific theme or level can take more time than it should. We wanted a place where a parent, teacher, student, or puzzle fan could create a new puzzle in seconds.

The goal is not to make word searches complicated. It is to make them easier to access and easier to adapt to the moment: a quick Easy puzzle during a break, a Medium puzzle for regular practice, or a larger Hard puzzle for someone who wants more of a challenge.

How the puzzles work

WordsMaze builds puzzles in the browser from category-specific word banks. The selected words are placed into the grid and checked so that every word in the list can be found. Additional letters fill the remaining spaces, creating a new puzzle each time you generate one.

Because placement is generated afresh, two puzzles from the same category can look different. You can also switch categories or difficulty whenever you want.

• Select Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty.

• Use the solution option when you want to check your work.
